Ajloun: Tourism facilities in Ajloun Governorate, including hotels, cabins, parks, and nature reserves, have finalized their preparations to welcome visitors during the Eid al-Fitr holidays. Officials and business owners express optimism about a significant rise in occupancy rates as visitors are drawn to the region's spring weather and natural scenery.
According to Jordan News Agency, Tariq Maaytah, Director of the Ajloun Development Zone, stated that the cable car service has undergone maintenance and inspections to ensure visitor safety. Additionally, preparations include a children's play area, a heritage tent, the ninth Ajloun Spring Festival, and the 25th Ajloun Products and Handicrafts Exhibition.
Firas Khatatbeh, Director of Tourism for the Ajloun Governorate, highlighted that all tourist facilities and services are ready to accommodate large numbers of visitors over the Eid period. He anticipates a 100 percent occupancy rate, with increased bookings in protected areas, restaurants, and hotels, attracting both local visitors and tourists from Gulf states.
Uday Qudah, Director of the Ajloun Forest Biosphere Reserve, confirmed that the reserve is prepared to receive visitors during the holidays and the upcoming summer season. The reserve offers food, accommodation, hiking trails, and recreational areas, with cabins capable of accommodating up to 150 guests.
Ali Fandi, owner of Rajib Tourist Resort, assured that his resort is fully equipped with all necessary services to ensure visitor comfort. He looks forward to welcoming families and groups over the holidays.
Fahim Smadi, another resort owner, predicted that the governorate will experience "unprecedented" tourism activity. He emphasized that all services, including food, accommodation, and nature experiences, are available, which will enhance domestic tourism and support the development of local tourism projects.
