Amman: Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti welcomed a delegation from the US Institute for Security Governance (ISG), led by Tim Markle, at the General Command. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration in security governance and institutional capacity building, with the participation of several senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on reinforcing partnerships to uphold good governance within military and security institutions, aligning with international standards in strategic planning, decision-making, and resource management. Major General Huneiti emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise with specialized institutions, highlighting JAF's commitment to enhancing institutional systems and performance efficiency.
Huneiti noted that these initiatives are crucial for bolstering readiness and professionalism in executing various duties and missions. This approach is part of a comprehensive framework based on scientific planning and the effective management of human and operational resources. Tim Markle praised JAF's progress in institutional development and modernization, advocating for sustained collaboration and knowledge exchange in security governance and capacity building.
