Aqaba: 1st Arabia and Fira Barcelona have announced the launch of ABOFA - Aqaba Blue Ocean: Future in Action, scheduled from September 9-12, 2026, at the Aqaba International Exhibition Center (AIEC) in southern Jordan.
According to Jordan News Agency, the event is organized in partnership with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) and aims to become the regional flagship event for the diving, marine technology, and coastal lifestyle industries. This initiative reflects a strategic focus on advancing these sectors while reinforcing Aqaba's position as an emerging hub in the blue economy.
ABOFA will concentrate on various aspects of the blue economy, including diving equipment, ocean technology, marine sciences, water sports, and boating lifestyle. The event will gather leading global brands, innovators, and industry experts, providing a platform for showcasing marine solutions and fostering partnerships that drive innovation and investment in the sector.
