Jordanian Army Chief and Hungarian Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Military Cooperation

Amman:Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Majdi Mohammad Harasis, met with Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan, Peter Zsolt Jakab, at the General Headquarters of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields. The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments that serve the common interests of Jordan and Hungary.

Maj. Gen. Harasis emphasized the importance of strengthening military ties between Jordan and Hungary, particularly through the exchange of expertise and skill development via joint exercises and training programs.

Ambassador Jakab expressed his appreciation for Jordan's role in promoting regional security and peace under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. He also commended the JAF for its significant humanitarian efforts.
