Amman: The Jordanian Social Democratic Party, represented by the coordinating committee of Shada "Social Democratic Youth," organized an introductory session at the party's headquarters in Amman's Shmeisani area. This event was held in collaboration with the Political Institute for the Preparation of Youth Leaders and aimed to connect Jordanian youth with national opportunities to develop their cognitive and political capacities, specifically through the Youth Government and Youth Parliament programs.
According to Jordan News Agency, the session emphasized the significance of equipping youth with political and institutional tools, enabling them to access training and decision-making arenas. This initiative reflects the integration between partisan efforts and national programs in nurturing informed youth leaders. Moderated by party General Council member Majd Al-Rawad, the session gathered both partisan and non-partisan youth from various governorates across the Kingdom.
Senator Mustafa Hamarneh, addressing the session, underscored the importance of genuine awareness in political endeavors, stating that partisan work is a political creed that requires dedication to implement party programs and their societal impact. He highlighted the role of specialized skills in advancing partisan work and pointed out that democracy is closely tied to public interests and awareness.
Ahmad Akaileh, Director of Projects at the Political Institute for the Preparation of Youth Leaders, stated that the institute serves as a national youth umbrella, with initiatives led by youth and in collaboration with supporting ministries and national institutions. Raed Dabbas, the institute's Executive Coordinator, elaborated on the programs aimed at engaging youth in public life and decision-making processes, ultimately preparing young leaders for institutional participation.
Participants in the institute's programs shared that intensive training and interactions with decision-makers have honed their political and partisan identities, enhancing their knowledge and skills. They emphasized that political differences strengthen dialogue and debate, raising awareness within the national context.
Haneen Bani Amer, Rahaf Atiyeh, and Raedah Abu Sumrah shared their experiences, noting that participation in the institute's programs provided valuable cognitive and practical growth, reinforcing their belief in the pivotal role of Jordanian youth in shaping the future.
