Amman: The trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) was at JD14.8 million on Monday, with 5.8 million shares changing hands through 4,683 transactions. The ASE general price index closed at 3,572 points, up 1.05%.
According to Jordan News Agency, all sector indices saw positive movements. The services sector experienced a notable increase of 1.86%, while the financial sector gained 0.77%, and the industry sector rose 0.51%.
Out of the 108 companies listed on the exchange, 46 saw their stock prices increase, whereas 32 recorded declines compared to previous closing prices.
