Irbid: Police in Irbid have arrested a group of individuals who stole 53 heads of sheep from two sheep-breeding sites in the Bani Kinana district, Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Otoum said. Al-Otoum shared that the stolen sheep were recovered and returned to their owners, emphasizing the role of Irbid police in apprehending the suspects.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Otoum commended the collaboration between local residents and security agencies, which he identified as a critical factor in combating crime. He highlighted the importance of community awareness in preventing such incidents by encouraging the reporting of any suspicious activity.
The governor mentioned that the detainees will face the public prosecutor once the necessary legal procedures are completed. He affirmed the commitment of the security agencies to protect citizens' property, public order, assets, and possessions. The security services are tasked with preventing crime, uncovering criminal activities, arresting perpetrators, and ensuring they are brought to justice.
