Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II met with the team responsible for organizing Jordan's pavilion at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan, which attracted approximately one million visitors, according to a royal court statement.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting was held at Al Husseiniya Palace and was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. His Majesty praised the collective efforts that resulted in a world-class national pavilion and emphasized the importance of using this success as a model for Jordan's participation in future international events.
Jordan's pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025 distinguished itself by winning two gold awards at the Official Participants Awards Ceremony. The awards were given in the categories of content development and sustainability among medium-sized pavilions. Notably, it was the only pavilion to receive two gold medals at this year's exhibition, which ran from April to October and featured the participation of 165 countries.
The Jordanian pavilion's success was further highlighted by a survey conducted by Japanese specialist company PIA Corporation, which showed that it topped visitor satisfaction ratings. This achievement underscores Jordan's competitiveness and creativity on the international stage.
