Jordan: Jordan Customs Department (JCD) spokesperson Col. Amjad Khaldi stated that customs personnel have successfully seized 25,000 narcotic pills, 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a palm-sized sheet of hashish, and a packet of Captagon pills. These items were confiscated during a crackdown at the Syrian-Jordanian Joint Free Zone Customs Center. The operation was conducted in collaboration with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND).
According to Jordan News Agency, Col. Khaldi mentioned that the seized items have been handed over to the AND administration for further legal action. The JCD is committed to combating smuggling operations and works closely with Jordan's security and regulatory agencies to ensure public health and safety.
Col. Khaldi also encouraged the public to report any violations or smuggling activities by contacting the Anti-Smuggling Operations Center at the toll-free number 105.
