Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Tuesday visited the Royal Maintenance Corps (RMC).
According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, Huneiti was briefed by the RMC’s Director on its tasks and duties, as well as its modernization and development operations carried out over the past years, which achieved “advanced” levels of technical and combat readiness.
The Army statement detailed that the briefing covered the RMC’s role in maintaining the various military equipment, weapons, and systems operating within the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army to ensure their “full” readiness to operate under various operational conditions and environments.
Huneiti affirmed the JAF’s General Command’s commitment to supporting the RMC and providing the “latest advanced” technological devices and equipment, which would enable the corps to carry out tasks with “high efficiency and adequacy.”
He also praised the technical competencies of the RMC’s engineers and technicians, commending their professionalism, “extensive experience, and distinguished capability to innovate and create in facing various challenges.”
