Astana: Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Jordan, Talgat Shaldanbai, stated that the anticipated visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Astana is of special significance, signaling a new phase in enhancing the comprehensive partnership between Jordan and Kazakhstan, and injecting fresh vigor into political dialogue.
According to Jordan News Agency, Shaldanbai emphasized that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Amman in February established a robust foundation for the upcoming meeting, pinpointing key cooperation areas. Several agreements are currently being executed in sectors such as energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, digitalization, and transport logistics.
Shaldanbai also highlighted that humanitarian and educational initiatives, including academic exchanges, cultural interaction, and tourism development, are also being prioritized, reflecting both nations’ mutual interest in fostering understanding and trust.
The ambassador mentioned that a significant business forum is planned to take place in Astana during the King’s visit, which will gather hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors from both nations. The forum is expected to serve as a tangible platform to discuss prospective projects and attract investments in strategic industries.
Shaldanbai expressed confidence that the meeting between King Abdullah II and President Tokayev will establish a long-term cooperation agenda, reinforce the high level of trust between the two countries, and open new avenues for advancing bilateral relations.
