Damascus: Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has issued Decree No. 143 of 2025, which approves a temporary electoral system for the People’s Assembly, as reported by the state news agency SANA.
According to Jordan News Agency, the decree specifies that the total number of seats in the People’s Assembly will be set at 210 members.
