Ajloun: The first days of the Ajloun Cable Car Summer Festival, known as “SummerRic” 2025, have seen a significant turnout of visitors and vacationers from various governorates across the country.
According to Jordan News Agency, the new edition of the festival provided a unique atmosphere that blended picturesque nature with an array of artistic and recreational activities. In a press statement, Director of Ajloun Development Zone, Tariq Maaytah, noted that the events attracted a considerable public turnout, with audiences engaging with artistic and musical performances by several Jordanian artists.
Maaytah highlighted the entertainment performances aimed at children and families, which added to the joyful atmosphere at the cable car site. He further mentioned that the success observed in the initial days reflects visitor confidence in the quality of the events and organization.
The festival continues to deliver new performances that cater to the aspirations of families and youth, while positioning Ajloun as a prominent tourist destination on the national travel map. SummerRic is part of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZ)’s vision to enhance domestic tourism and promote the Ajloun cable car project as a key tourist attraction in the Kingdom’s northern region.
