Amman: An official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) reported that the Northern Military Zone successfully foiled an infiltration attempt at one of its border crossings at dawn.
According to Jordan News Agency, the source revealed that five individuals were detected attempting to cross the border illegally. The military applied the rules of engagement, which resulted in the arrest of these individuals. They were subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for further processing.
The source emphasized that the JAF remains committed to executing its national duty with utmost professionalism. The army employs all available resources to confront infiltration and smuggling attempts, ensuring the security and stability of the Kingdom.
