Jordan’s Civil Defense Handles 1,447 Incidents in 24 Hours

Amman: Civil Defense Department (CDD) at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) responded to 1,447 different incidents over the past 24 hours, including 1,280 emergency cases, as well as 118 and 49 rescue and firefighting incidents, respectively.

According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD reported that the average response time for emergency cases was 7:33 minutes. The response times for rescue and firefighting incidents were recorded at 7:34 and 7:32 minutes, respectively.

The CDD emphasized its readiness to manage various incidents and urged citizens to adhere to public safety guidelines. The department also encouraged the public to use the unified emergency number (911) for assistance.
