Huneiti and Pakistan Naval Chief Discuss Military Cooperation

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, engaged in discussions with Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday. The meeting, which took place at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, focused on aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions included exploring ways to enhance bilateral relations to benefit the armed forces of both countries. Huneiti highlighted the importance of coordinating international efforts to achieve global peace and security, underscoring the need to fortify the strategic partnership between Jordan and Pakistan.

Admiral Ashraf expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s role in supporting regional security and stability. He commended the Jordan Armed Forces for their advanced level, which contributes to maintaining peace in the region.

The meeting was also attended by the Pakistani Ambassador and Defense Attach© in Amman, along with several senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces.
