Moscow: The Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday called on Israel to return to ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, strongly condemning military actions that have resulted in civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure in the besieged enclave.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry expressed “deep regret” over Israel’s resumption of military operations and urged both Israel and Palestine to re-engage in negotiations for a ceasefire. “Russia strongly condemns the military actions that have led to the killing of civilians and the destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure,” the statement added.
