Civilian Casualties from Israeli Strikes in Gaza Draw UK FM’s Criticism

London: UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, expressed his deep dismay over the civilian casualties resulting from the latest Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, describing the loss of life as “appalling.” In a post on his official X account on Tuesday, Lammy stated, “The civilian casualties from Israeli strikes overnight are appalling.”

According to Jordan News Agency, Lammy urged all parties involved to re-engage in negotiations to facilitate the release of hostages, increase aid, and secure a permanent end to the conflict. He emphasized that diplomacy, not further bloodshed, is essential for achieving security for both Israelis and Palestinians.
