EMRC Receives 748 License Applications with Key Rejections in Oil Sector

Amman: The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) received 748 license applications in various sectors in February, rejecting 7 related to the oil and derivatives sector.

According to Jordan News Agency, the accepted applications were as follows: 386 in the Kingdom’s natural resources sector, 126 others in the radiological and nuclear field, 188 in the petroleum and derivatives sector, and 41 in the electricity and renewable energy industry.

As for the key application details, the EMRC received 23 requests for licensing public charging stations, 145 for operating a central liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) facility, 4 for opening a fuel station, 4 for establishing an LPG cylinder distribution agency, 143 for exporting raw materials, and 195 for importing raw substances.
