Madaba: The Prime Ministry has handed over five passenger buses to facilitate transportation for beneficiaries of various institutional programs in Madaba and Tafileh governorates. This initiative follows Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan’s periodic field tours, where transportation challenges were highlighted by local residents.

According to Jordan News Agency, three of these buses have been delivered to Jabal Bani Hamida Municipality in Madaba to address longstanding issues of internal transportation within the region’s villages and the downtown area of Madaba governorate. This move aims to resolve commuting difficulties that have hindered access to training and professional programs offered by various institutions.

The remaining two buses have been allocated to the Community Development Center in Jabal Bani Hamida and Bu?ayra Sports Club in Tafileh governorate. The Mayor of Jabal Bani Hamida Municipality, Mohammed Shakhanbeh, stated that the buses will offer free transportation services for residents, located approximately 40 kilometers from the center of Madaba governorate, thereby improving connectivity.

Nariman Ajarmeh, Director of the Community Development Center in Jabal Bani Hamida, emphasized that the newly allocated bus will enhance transportation for vocational program beneficiaries and facilitate social studies and field visits aimed at supporting underprivileged families.

Furthermore, Jibril Soudi, Head of Tafileh’s Bu?ayra Sports Club, mentioned that the provided bus will aid in transporting judo players to various tournaments and training sessions. Currently, 100 players are being trained at the club, which actively participates in numerous local and international competitions.
