Zarqa: The value of commercial exports (re-exports) from Zarqa, a central city, surpassed JD23,371,915 in February, as announced by Hussein Shraim, Head of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce (ZCC).
According to Jordan News Agency, Shraim highlighted in a press statement on Sunday that cars and spare parts represented the “largest” portion of Zarqa’s exports. Other significant exports included building materials, sanitary ware, medicines and their supplies, food, garments, jewelry, electrical and electronic appliances, home and office furniture, and stationery.
Shraim also noted that the chamber and its office in the free zone issued 286 certificates of origin during the same period, based on official statistics. This issuance reflects the robust commercial activity and the diverse range of products being re-exported from Zarqa.
