Al Salt: Al Balqa Applied University (BAU) President Ahmed Ajlouni announced the results of the Shamel exam, the annual comprehensive final exam for community college students, for the 2025 winter session. In a press conference Thursday, Ajlouni stated that the pass rate reached 61.24%, a figure approximately consistent with previous sessions.
According to Jordan News Agency, Ajlouni noted that a total of 6,903 students participated in the exam, sitting for one or more papers. Out of these, 4,228 students successfully passed. The exam candidates were enrolled in 53 intermediate university colleges across 111 study programs.
Ajlouni also reported that 13 students were absent from all exam papers, and 27 violations were recorded during the exam session. As the chair of the exam’s higher committee, he emphasized that the results were announced following a process of score processing conducted with “complete accuracy and integrity.”
