Washington: His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized his unwavering commitment to Jordan’s stability and the well-being of its citizens during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. In a post on his official X account, King Abdullah highlighted the constructive nature of their discussions and expressed gratitude for President Trump’s warm reception.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting underscored the longstanding partnership between Jordan and the United States, focusing on stability, peace, and mutual security in the region. King Abdullah reiterated Jordan’s strong opposition to the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, aligning with the unified Arab stance. He emphasized the importance of rebuilding Gaza without displacing its people and addressing the urgent humanitarian needs as a priority.

King Abdullah also advocated for achieving just peace through a two-state solution, highlighting its significance for regional stability. He called for U.S. leadership in this endeavor, recognizing President Trump’s role in securing the Gaza ceasefire and urging continued efforts to ensure its durability.
