Amman: President of the Professional Associations Council and Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), Ali Abu Nuqta, met with Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), to discuss the swift delivery of donations collected in support of Gaza.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, Abu Nuqta emphasized JHCO’s significant role in aiding Palestinians. He highlighted JHCO’s humanitarian efforts to ease the difficulties caused by war and to bolster the resilience of the affected communities. The AEA is working closely with JHCO to ensure the efficient transfer of donations, which were collected during a Ramadan charity iftar by participants including agricultural engineers, agricultural companies, and the Beekeepers Association. These donations comprise tents and essential shelter supplies.
Hussein Shibli assured that JHCO is actively expediting the delivery of aid to the most affected areas in Gaza, with coordination from the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Arab Army. He acknowledged that certain delays in transporting supplies are attributed to external procedural challenges, but stressed JHCO’s dedication to overcoming these obstacles.
Shibli reiterated JHCO’s commitment to delivering humanitarian aid through a structured approach that focuses on the most urgent needs in the besieged enclave, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.
