Crown Prince Engages with Singapore President at Davos WEF Meeting

Davos: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam during the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The meeting underscored the Crown Prince’s commitment to enhancing relations between Jordan and Singapore, emphasizing collaboration and knowledge sharing in key sectors such as economic development and government services.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince lauded the ongoing efforts to implement the bilateral agreements established during his recent visit to Singapore. Discussions during the meeting also touched upon regional issues, with the Crown Prince highlighting the importance of maintaining the Gaza ceasefire and increasing international aid to the area.

Further, the Crown Prince expressed his gratitude for Singapore’s support of peace initiatives in the region, as well as its backing of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The meeting was attended by Jordan’s Investment Minister Mothanna Gharaibeh, Planning Minister Zeina Toukan, and the Director of the Office of the Crown Prince, Zaid Baqain.
