Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti emphasized the critical role of the Special Forces in safeguarding national security and stability during his recent visit to the 71st Special Battalion. He addressed the unit’s vital contributions to the nation’s defense, citing their expertise in executing complex missions and their storied history of heroism and sacrifice.

According to Jordan News Agency, Maj. Gen. Huneiti highlighted that the Royal Special Forces are under the attentive care of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF). The steadfast support from the JAF General Command is manifested in equipping the Special Forces with cutting-edge technology and advanced equipment necessary for their mission readiness. This backing ensures that the forces remain prepared to confront any challenges that may threaten national security.

During the visit, Maj. Gen. Huneiti was accompanied by prominent JAF officials, including the Assistant for Operations and Training.
