Dubai: President of the University of Jordan (UJ), Dr. Nazir Obeidat, on Wednesday participated in the Arab Universities Summit 2024, hosted by the University of Dubai in cooperation with Times Higher Education (THE), with the participation of leaders from the Arab higher education sector. The summit, themed “Agile universities for an uncertain era: Advancing Arab higher education,” aims to promote inter-university cooperation, exchange expertise, and explore best practices in the Arab higher education sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Obeidat emphasized that the summit serves as a “unique and pioneering” platform for fostering cooperation with “prestigious” institutions and universities in the Arab world, focusing on research, education, and institutional development. Highlighting the University of Jordan’s contributions, he announced that UJ has submitted eight projects in planning and development areas to compete for international awards.
