3rd Gulf-Jordanian economic forum to kick off on Tuesday

The third Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum will kick off on Tuesday in Amman, organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Supported by the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Forum will be held under the title “New aspects for economic and investment cooperation”, bringing together 120 business owners, investors, and heads of federations and chambers of commerce from the GCC nations.

JCC Chairman Nael Kabariti said the Forum represents a new building block in Jordan’s investment and trade relations with the GCC countries, and an opportunity to push bilateral ties forward towards economic achievements.

“The 2-day Forum aims at further boosting trade, economic and investment ties, as well as forging new partnerships between Jordan and the Arab Gulf states,” he added, noting that feasibility studies for small and major businesses in transportation, logistics, tourism, medical tourism, banking, information technology, food security and agricultural manufacturing will be presented during the meetings.
