130 Arrested in Israeli Raids in Occupied West Bank, Settlers Breach Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces detained 130 Palestinians on Wednesday during raids in Jerusalem and towns and villages across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society. The operations targeted several areas, highlighting ongoing tensions in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, troops conducted search-and-arrest operations in various areas of East Jerusalem. They stormed the villages of Burin and Madama near Nablus, converting buildings into interrogation centers. Military presence was also noted in Akkaba village near Tubas and Imatin near Qalkilya in the northern West Bank.

In occupied Jerusalem, the situation escalated as dozens of hardline settlers breached the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, also known as Haram Al Sharif, under heavy police escort. They performed prayers at the site, while police imposed restrictions on the access of worshippers and Jerusalemites, intensifying the atmosphere at the complex.
