Zoubi, Iraqi industry minister talk joint cooperation

Jordan’s ambassador to Baghdad, Muntaser Zoubi, on Sunday discussed with Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Al-Safi, cooperation opportunities and industrial integration between the two countries.

Zoubi announced the Jordanian government’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation relations and action with Iraq, at all levels, which would contribute to serving common interests.

The Jordanian government, he noted, is looking for Iraqi-Jordanian industrial partnerships to benefit both countries.

Al-Safi, for his part, stressed the importance of strengthening Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation and achieving joint industrial integration in various industrial fields, in light of the two countries’ plans to enhance relations to the “highest” levels, to achieve their supreme interests.

Al-Safi also announced the Iraqi government’s desire to reach “effective and constructive” partnerships with the Jordanian government to establish “promising and vital” projects that serve the two countries’ industries.
