Zarqa University and Kuwaiti Namaa Charity Explore Educational Collaboration

Zarqa: Nidal Al Ramahi, President of Zarqa University, met with a delegation from the Kuwaiti Namaa Charity, led by CEO Saad Marzouq Al-Otaibi and Projects Director Khaled Al-Shamri, to discuss collaboration between the two entities.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting was attended by key university figures, including Dean of Admissions Khalid Zayadeen, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication Amjad Al Safoure, and faculty members Mohammed Uneizat and Wael Al-Sharaa. Al Ramahi emphasized the importance of fostering connections with sister countries through hosting Arab and international institutions and signing agreements to enhance the university’s regional presence.

Al Ramahi outlined the university’s commitment to establishing relationships with local and international institutions for exchanging academic and research expertise, aiming to benefit the local community. He highlighted the significance of scientific research within the university’s academic mission, emphasizing the provision of a supportive research environment and partnerships with research institutions.

He also stressed the importance of equipping students with necessary academic and professional skills through advanced programs and specialized training workshops, aligned with labor market demands.

Al Safoure noted that his faculty concentrates on preparing students for the challenges of modern media through practical training and workshops. These programs are designed to ready students for careers in digital journalism and creative content production, enhancing their capacity to contribute to the media sector.

The Namaa Charity delegation commended Zarqa University’s efforts in adopting modern technology and delivering education that aligns with contemporary requirements. Al-Otaibi stated that investing in youth’s scientific and professional training is pivotal for a promising future and highlighted the role of strategic partnerships in nurturing creativity and innovation among upcoming generations.

At the end of the visit, Al Ramahi presented the delegation with a university shield to acknowledge their efforts and productive collaboration.
