ZARQA: President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce (ZCC), Hussein Shreim, announced that the value of commercial re-exports from Zarqa during the last month exceeded JD24.5 million. The significant figure marks a notable achievement for the region’s trade sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, Shreim detailed that the majority of Zarqa’s commercial exports were comprised of vehicles and their accessories. Other major exports included building materials, sanitary tools, medicines and medical supplies, food products, clothing and jewelry. Additionally, electrical and electronic devices, furniture for homes and offices, and stationery contributed to the export figures.
Shreim further noted the issuance of 392 certificates of origin during the month, as documented by the Chamber of Commerce’s statistics and its office in the Zarqa Free Zone. This indicates a robust trading activity and highlights the importance of Zarqa as a key player in the region’s commercial landscape.
