Amman: Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Moneim Odat, emphasized the pivotal role of youth in driving Jordan’s modernization project, covering political, economic, and administrative tracks.
According to Jordan News Agency, the minister highlighted that this policy aims to enhance the involvement of youth in public life, decision-making processes, and future planning. During a meeting with a youth delegation from the “Young Political Vision” initiative at the ministry’s headquarters, Odat stated that despite regional and international challenges, the state is making steady progress in modernization and development.
Odat remarked that the political modernization project signifies Jordan’s strength and adaptability in the face of internal and external changes. He noted that the Kingdom’s constitutional amendments and changes to the Political Parties and Election Laws create a conducive environment for youth to engage in political activities.
He pointed out that these new legislations allow young people to participate in party-based programs, overcome past apprehensions, and increase their parliamentary involvement. Odat urged the youth to take advantage of this opportunity to foster a meaningful and impactful partisan life, ultimately leading to a parliament rooted in programmatic party blocs.
