Yemen's general labor union on Monday condemned the American-British illegal aggression on Yemen that left martyrs and casualties. The union dubbed US-UK assault as flagrant violation of international laws, principles and human conventions, as it "actually targets global peace and security, and shipping in the Red Sea." While it will not dissuade Yemen from its pro-Palestine position, this aggression proves legitimacy of the Yemeni stance based on religious, humane and moral principles, the union added in statement seen by Saba. Their recent aggression recalls the assault launched by the US and allies on Yemen in 2015, with the same guns and way, the statement read, as "America presents itself as the direct killer of the Yemeni people, but also the Palestinian people by backing the Zionist crimes." The union hailed the Yemeni and all free nations' support for the Palestinian people as legitimate, as they seek to stop genocide and lift siege unfairly imposed on women and children in Gaza. "The Yemeni posi tion in the Red Sea targeted on country in the World," the union argued. It only targeted the "Israeli enemy, in order to stop ships heading for the occupied land of Palestine. "The United Nations' weak performance and dependency to American decision emboldened the Zionist entity to persist in its crimes" against the Palestinian people. Yemen has the right to self-defense, the union said, hailing the Yemeni leadership and armed forces for defending Yemen's sovereignty. Source: Yemen News Agency
