Gaza: The World Food Programme (WFP) condemned the Israeli occupation forces for opening fire on a clearly marked WFP convoy near the Wadi Gaza checkpoint on Sunday. The convoy was attacked despite having proper identification and the necessary approvals from Israeli authorities.
According to Jordan News Agency, the WFP issued a statement highlighting that the shooting endangered the lives of its staff. The convoy, which consisted of three vehicles carrying eight staff members, was targeted. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the WFP personnel involved in the incident. The organization expressed serious concerns over the safety of its staff operating in the region.
