According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to heavy thundershowers leading to torrential rains, accompanied by hail showers and gusty winds will limit visibility in parts of Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah and Madinah regions. Fog may form over the highlands of these regions; dust-stirring winds will blow over the southern coastal road to Jazan.
Winds over the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 25-60 km/h in the southern part, accompanied by thunderclouds in the center and southern parts. With the formation of thunderclouds, waves may range from half a meter to over two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, reaching 10-35 km/h. Waves will range from half a meter to a meter; the sea will be calm to choppy.
