Weather Forecast for Sunday

The National Center for Meteorology forecasts moderate to heavy thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, and Al Baha regions, extending to Makkah.

Riyadh and Eastern regions will have hot to extremely hot weather, with active surface winds causing dust storms in parts of the Northern Borders, Al Jouf, Tabuk, Makkah, and Madinah, especially coastal areas.

On the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to westerly, reaching speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the south, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, with speeds of 20-40 km/h, increasing to 50 km/h. Thunderstorms and rain are expected, with waves reaching 1.5 to 2.5 meters, increasing to 3 meters in the southern parts. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 15-35 km/h, with waves of 0.5 to 1.5 meters. The sea will be light to moderate.
