According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to torrential thundershowers accompanied by strong winds are forecast for Saturday in some parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, reaching the southern parts of Makkah region.
Thundershowers will be expected to fall on parts of Najran, Hail, Madinah, Qassim and western parts of Riyadh region. It is also possible that fog will form in parts of Jazan and Aseer regions during the late night and early morning hours.
Winds over the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly, reached speeds from 15 to 60km/h. Waves may reach from one to three meters; the sea will be relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, registering a speed of 10 to 30km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will be relatively calm.
