The National Center for Meteorology has forecast continued thunderstorms today in various regions of Saudi Arabia, which may bring heavy rainfall, hail, and strong winds, potentially causing flash floods and sandstorms in Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.
Light rain is expected in other regions, like Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders, as well as in the southern parts of Riyadh. Fog may form during late night and early morning hours in highland areas.
Winds over the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly, gradually shifting to westerly, reaching 20-60 km/h. Waves will reach one to three meters. The sea will be calm to relatively calm to choppy.
Over the Arabian Gulf, winds will be westerly to northwesterly, gradually becoming northern to northeasterly, at speeds of 10-30 km/h. Waves will reach from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will be calm.
