According to the National Center for Meteorology, moderate to torrential thundershowers accompanied by strong winds are forecast for Friday in some parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds will blow in parts of the Eastern and Najran regions as well as in the coastal parts of Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk regions.
Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, reached speeds from 20 to 40km/h. Waves may reach from one and a half meter to two meters; the sea will be relatively choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly, registering a speed of 18 to 40km/h. Waves may range from a meter to one meter and a half, and the sea will be relatively calm to choppy.
