US Stocks Rebound Sharply as Oil Prices Ease

New york: Major US stock indices rose significantly on Tuesday after experiencing sharp declines and volatility in recent days. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1,125 points to 46,341 points, marking a gain of 2.73 percent.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Nasdaq index, which is heavily weighted toward technology stocks, rose 796 points to 21,590 points, up 3.83 percent. The SandP 500 index also gained about 184 points to reach 6,528 points, a rise of 2.91 percent.

Meanwhile, US crude oil, West Texas Intermediate, fell by around $3 but remained elevated at $101.76 per barrel.
