US Stock Indexes Slide as Oil Prices Rise

New york: Major U.S. stock indexes fell on Tuesday, while the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil rose by nearly one dollar, reaching $63.72 per barrel.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 88 points to 46,292, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 215 points to 22,573. Meanwhile, the SandP 500 index declined by approximately 36 points, closing at 6,656.
