Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Wednesday that a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip seriously threatens patients’ lives.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agency stated on its website that the entire healthcare system in Gaza has been under attack since the war began, urging the lifting of the blockade by Israeli occupation forces on Gaza and a renewal of the ceasefire.
In the same context, Doctors Without Borders reported on Wednesday that the Gaza Strip has become a mass grave for Palestinians and those who aid them. The organization highlighted the deliberate denial of access to essential aid, which continues to systematically destroy the lives of Palestinians. It called for the immediate lifting of the blockade, the protection of Palestinians and humanitarian and medical workers, and the reinstatement of the ceasefire.
