University of Jordan ranks top locally on QS’s new rankings on sustainability

The University of Jordan (UJ) ranked first locally in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainable Development Goals, while it was placed in the 401-450 group globally on this indicator.

According to the university’s statement on Thursday, this brand-new classification, published by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, consists of two main categories: Environmental and social impacts, as each contains specific performance indicators.

Also globally, the university also ranked 422th, in terms of environmental impact, which consists of 3 indicators, 192th in the education sustainability index and 379th in the employment index, the statement added.
