Amman: A new Erasmus+ KA171 financing agreement between the University of Jordan (UJ) and the University of Twente in the Netherlands will provide 40 academic exchange opportunities over the next three years. Exchange activities will begin this fall, offering scholarships for students, faculty, and administrative staff across a variety of disciplines, including engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, computer science, and agriculture, according to UJ.
According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative targets key global and regional priorities, the university stated, including digital transformation, AI integration, cybersecurity, food security, water scarcity, climate change, and sustainability. Building on existing ties in capacity building, publishing, and professional training, the partnership aims to expand into additional faculties and research centers.
