Unesco: Unesco Announced on Tuesday that the Aqaba National Vocational Training Hub (ANVT Hub), operated by the National Employment and Training Company, has officially joined the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The announcement was made during a ceremony marking the induction of 15 new centers from around the world into the network. Representing Jordan, the ANVT Hub becomes one of approximately 250 vocational training institutions worldwide to be part of this prestigious international network.
According to Jordan News Agency, this inclusion is an international recognition of Jordan's efforts to modernize its vocational training ecosystem. The National Employment and Training Company has been focused on elevating program quality and equipping youth with modern skills aligned with global market standards and best practices.
Membership in the UNEVOC network is expected to enhance international cooperation, allowing the Aqaba Hub to exchange expertise and knowledge with global institutions. This partnership aims to foster innovation in skill development and support the United Kingdom's progress toward sustainable development goals.
