UK Minister: Humanitarian Situation in Gaza is Critical

London: Minister for the Middle East at the British Foreign Office Hamish Falconer said on Monday that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is critical. He highlighted the severe impact of the ongoing restrictions on essential supplies in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, Falconer stated on X that Israel’s two-week ban on aid entry has severely hampered the provision of food, water, and healthcare in Gaza. The blockade has created significant challenges in meeting the basic needs of the population and addressing urgent humanitarian concerns.

Falconer called for an immediate lifting of Israel’s restrictions on the entry of aid to prevent further suffering. He emphasized the importance of allowing humanitarian assistance to reach those in need and mitigating the growing crisis in the region.
