Two Women Killed, Three Injured in Israeli Raid on West Bank Refugee Camp

Tulkarm: A 21-year-old Palestinian woman was killed and two others were injured, one seriously, during an ongoing Israeli military raid into the Nour Shams refugee camp in the city of Tulkarm in the north of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported. The incident highlights the escalating tensions in the region as military operations continue.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry also confirmed that a 23-year-old woman was killed and her husband critically injured by Israeli occupation forces in the camp. These events have heightened concerns over the safety and security of residents living in the area.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, Israeli troops caused significant destruction during a military campaign in Jenin refugee camp, resulting in the displacement of more than 20,000 people, as stated by Deputy Governor of Jenin, Mansour Saadi. Saadi described the situation in Jenin and the nearby camp as “a collective punishment” against approximately 400,000 Palestinians.

In a public statement, Saadi called on international human rights and legal organizations to visit the camp and document the extent of the damage. He expressed concern over the potential presence of bodies and injured individuals beneath the rubble of destroyed homes, emphasizing the need for immediate humanitarian intervention.
