The Turkish Foreign Ministry Sunday inveighed against the ongoing Israeli military operation against Palestinians in Gaza and the events earlier in the day when Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the hundreds.
The Anadolu Agency reported that the Ministry confirmed that the storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque by extremist Jewish settlers, with the backing of Israeli parliamentarian Itamar Ben Gvir and with the backing of the Israeli police, is a provocative action that constitutes a flagrant violation of the current situation in the Al Aqsa Mosque that would lead to further tension in the region.
