Transport minister, Saudi counterpart talk joint cooperation

Minister of Transport, Wajeeh Azaiza, discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, a number of common issues related to the transport fields and ways to enhance cooperation.

During their meeting held on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the conference of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers in Cairo, the two ministers stressed the “deep-rooted, distinguished” relations between the two countries.

Discussions also went over the need to continue contact and consultation to identify the sector’s challenges, and work jointly to reach a “sustainable” transport that serves the two countries’ economic interests, according to a ministry’s press statement.
